Billericay Round Table
shone through this week
when they donated £3040
to Sunnymede Preschool
for a playhouse and
landscaping for their
outdoor play area.
Billericay Round Table
were pleased to be a ray
of light to Sunnymede
Preschool as after 23
years they lost their
lease at the Outwood
Community Centre and
relocated to premises at
Sunnymede School. The
new location requires
pathways to be built and
the Round Table have
also provided the cash
for a playhouse for the
children.
Jenny Greenwood from the
Preschool was ecstatic
with the donation
saying” It is with hand
on heart that the staff,
I, the children and
parents of Sunnymede
Pre-school thank you for
your generous donation
towards our pathway
entrance and play house
for the children”. She
continued “Without your
generous donation I do
not think that we would
be so far forward in our
plans for this to
happen. Once our
entrance is finished and
we are up and running we
would like to invite you
to a tea party with the
children”.
Billericay Round Table
chairman Richard Leahy
said “We are very
pleased to help the
Preschool,
I believe that children
are our future, teach
them well and let them
lead the way”.
